Inhe Was Invited to Attend the China-South Africa Investment and Trade Roundtable

On July 8, the China-South Africa Investment and Trade Roundtable kicked off in Hangzhou. The roundtable was co-sponsored by the China-Africa Development Fund, South Africa's embassy in China and the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang province under the guidance of the Chinese Embassy in South Africa, the Department of West Asian and African Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce, and the South Africa's Department of Trade, Industry and Competition,. INHE Group was invited to participate in the conference. 

At the conference, Mr. Zhu Jianping, the representative of INHE, was invited to give a speech. He shared the growth history, globalization strategy, market development in Africa and South African market management experience of INHE.

When speaking of the company’s technical capabilities, he said, “We usually only see smart meters. In fact, there is a huge system architecture behind small meters, which we call AMI. AMI is the core network of power companies. Without it, power companies cannot collect electricity charges and continue its business. At present, there are many companies in China that make electricity meters, but only a few enterprises have AMI solution. INHE is one of the few companies in the industry that have both metering products and AMI solution."

And when talking about the development of the African market, he said proudly, "If there is one sentence to summarize INHE's contribution to Africa, it is that in the past 10 years, INHE’s smart meter products have brought electricity to millions of African households, greatly facilitating their lives. Of course, with 1.3 billion people in Africa and 30-40% electrification rate only, the market is huge and INHE still has a long way to go. " Speaking of this, the audience burst into applause.
